Titles in the Content Manager can include information like genre, tags, keywords, and other descriptive attributes. By applying filters, you can find contextually relevant content that helps you manage content efficiently and enhance viewer experience.
In Amagi PLANNER, you can work with your media content effectively by utilizing metadata filters. This feature enables you to find specific episodes, series, seasons, or single assets based on various categories of metadata.
To apply filters to your media content, follow these steps:
Navigate to the CONTENT MANAGER pane in the Amagi PLANNER tool.
Click on the funnel-shaped icon located next to the Search box to reveal the Filters pane.
Choose filters from available categories, for example, Media Type, Tags and Keywords, Asset Version, and Genres.
Select one or more options within each category to narrow down your search.
The CONTENT MANAGER displays the filtered media in the series-season-episode hierarchy. At the top of the pane, you can see the total count of programs that meet the selected filter criteria.
Understanding Filter Logic
The OR condition applies when you choose multiple options within a category. For example, selecting both "Action" and "Comedy" under Genres will display episodes that belong to either genre.
The AND condition applies when you choose options across different categories. For instance, selecting "Africa" under Tags and Keywords along with genres will show episodes that match both criteria.
Note
You can search for specific assets from the filtered list using keywords.
- Sorting options help you organize the filtered list based on your preferences.
- Once you apply the desired filters, you can use the filtered media for scheduling or building collections.
