Tags help in categorizing and organizing titles based on specific themes, topics or attributes. Amagi PLANNER offers a convenient way to organize and categorize your media items through the use of tags and keywords.

In this article, you will learn how to apply tags to the titles.

  1. Go to the CONTENT MANAGER pane of the Amagi PLANNER UI.

  2. Click on the 'Media' link and locate the title for which you want to add tags and keywords.

  3. Click on the title to view its details. The Asset Details pane pops up, displaying information about the selected media item.

  4. In the Asset Details pane, locate the Tags and Keywords section and click on the ADD button.

  5. Select the appropriate tags from the dropdown list that appears, that best describe the content of the asset. You can add multiple tags to a single asset to provide more context and improve searchability. For example, if the media item is about Africa and Education, you can add tags with the names "Africa" and "Education" to it.

  6. You can also add new tags to the list by typing the tag. All tags applied are saved immediately.

  7. You can view all the tags and keywords associated with an asset at the bottom of the Asset Details window.

  8. Once you have added the desired tags and keywords to the asset, click the CLOSE button.

  9. To add tags to multiple titles, you can update them along with the metadata of the assets/titles.

Using relevant and descriptive tags significantly enhances your ability to filter and choose the right assets for the rest of your workflow. Take time to choose appropriate tags that best represent the content of your media items.
