At times, due to changes in content planning, a need might arise to schedule a series at a timeslot where another series is already scheduled. If an empty space is not available above or below the existing series for scheduling the new series, you cannot replace the series. In such a case, you have to delete the existing series and reschedule a new series.
To delete the existing series and reschedule a new series, follow the below steps:
Delete the existing series by following the below steps:
Right click any program in the series, and click Entire Schedule Pattern from the right-click menu to select all programs in the series.
Verify the selected program cards that are highlighted in blue color.
Right click any of the selected program card, and click Delete from the right-click menu to delete the selected program cards from the scheduling calendar.
Locate the new series from the content manager and drag it to the empty slot that is created by deleting the existing series.
In the Schedule Media pop, define the scheduling rules, and click SCHEDULE to replace the existing series with a new series.
