Create a peak hour schedule and repeat until next day

A prime time schedule or a peak hour schedule can be repeated after it is scheduled the first time until the same time the next broadcast day. This reduces operational efforts while scheduling the programs by duplicating the already scheduled programs.

In a day you can schedule programs for eight hours according to a plan. Once that is done you can repeat the same set of programs by using the copy and paste functionality. Repeat twice in order to schedule for a total of 24 hours. If you choose to schedule for 4 or 6 hours, you would need to repeat for 6 or 4 times respectively to schedule for the next 24 hours.

This can be done in the week view and the day view calendar.

Week View

1. Navigate to the day for which programs are to be scheduled in the week view calendar.
2. Schedule programs for an eight-hour slot. For instance, schedule the program from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
3. Now, to repeat this set of programs, right-click on any of the programs and choose Select All Programs of this Day from the right-click menu. Right-click on the selected programs again and choose Copy.
4. Move to the time slot that follows the initial eight-hour schedule. For example, if your first set ended at 10:00 p.m., move to the 10:00 p.m. time slot. Right-click on the calendar and choose Paste from the right-click menu to replicate the programs.
5. Repeat the above step for the next eight-hour time slot. For example, if your previous slot ended at 6:00 a.m. the next day, navigate to the 6:00 a.m. time slot of the next day and paste the programs again.

Confirm that the programs are repeated three times by viewing the programs in the calendar and that programs are scheduled for the next 24 hours.

Day View

1. Go to the day for which programs are to be scheduled.
2. Schedule the programs for eight hours. For example, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
3. Choose Select All Programs of this Day from the right-click menu and copy. 
4. Choose the hole at the end of the first scheduled eight hours, in this case, the 10:00 p.m. slot. Right-click and click Paste. Eight hours of the schedule is copied onto the schedule.
5. Navigate to the end of the scheduled sixteen hours. For example, 6:00 am the next day and click on Paste from the right-click menu.

Confirm that the programs are repeated three times by viewing the programs in the calendar and that program are scheduled for the next 24 hours.
