You can create multiple ad automation rules and apply them to the schedules that match the criteria provided in the rule. At times, one or more criteria provided in the rules might conflict. In such cases, the rule with higher priority is applied.
Let’s consider that two 2 ad automation rules are created for a channel. Rule 1 is created to auto schedule an ad media during peak hours, while rule 2 is created to auto schedule an ad media for the entire day. In such a scenario, the ad automation will pick the rule with higher priority for scheduling ad media during peak hours.
All ad automation rules are arranged in the descending order of priority. To manually set the priority of a rule, rearrange it via dragging. In the above scenario, rule 1 should be above rule 2 in the list so that during the peak hours, the peak hours rule (rule 1) will be picked, while for the rest of the day, rule 2 will be picked.
